This chirping, flapping little sparrow has a soft, feather like covering. The chirping and flapping intrigue my kitty. The rechargeable option is great, so easy to use. This seems to have a life like quality that my cat is interested in. It has catnip that is very intriguing to her. I’m planning to buy another one just to keep as a back up. Our cat is OBSESSED. He brings it around everywhere. He likes to kick it, bite the heads and wings, and bat it around. It has not broken down once. The durability of this toy is insane considering how rough our cat plays with it. All the tail feathers fell off because he likes biting it off but the rest of the bird is intact. The battery life is also impressive. The cover/skin can be taken off and washed. It's a bit of a hassle to put it back on but it can be done. The chirp and speed of the wings flapping varies randomly, making the bird seem "alive."
